SILVER SPRING, MD — A 22-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested on Thursday after authorities found sexually explicit images and videos of juveniles at his residence, Montgomery County Police said.

Henri Josue Guevara-Chicas was charged with multiple counts of child pornography-related offenses, as well as offenses related to sex abuse of a minor, authorities said.

In mid-October 2018, the county police department's Special Victims Investigations Division began an investigation regarding the possible distribution of child pornography in Montgomery County. Detectives later determined that multiple sexually explicit images of juveniles were being stored and then distributed from a computer inside Guevara-Chicas' Silver Spring home.

After law enforcement officials executed a search warrant on his home, Guevara-Chicas told police that he had child pornography on his computer. Authorities said that Guevara-Chicas also admitted to having secretly recorded videos that he had made of three underage girls while they were at his home.

A second search warrant was executed on his home, which turned up a Micro-SD card containing images of the juvenile females, whom police say he secretly recorded.
