Maryland Lottery: Silver Spring Man Finds $40K Winning Combination At Racetrax
A lucky Silver Spring man won over $40,000 after betting the perfect combination of horses at the Racetrax game.
SILVER SPRING, MD — A lucky 37-year-old Silver Spring man won over $40,000 after betting the perfect combination of horses at the Racetrax game Feb. 16, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The Lottery player purchased a five-draw Superfecta ticket and bet that No. 9, 6, 3 and 11 horses would cross the finish line in that exact order.
That's exactly what happened, and the man was awarded $40,757.

The man said he also found big-ticket prizes playing Pick 4.
His Lottery retailer that got a bonus equal to 1 percent of the prize was the Hyattsville Convenience Store in Prince George’s County. For selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more, the store located at 2230 University Boulevard East in Hyattsville will receive a $407.57 bonus from the Lottery.
