Silver Spring Man Tells Police Where To Find His Dead Wife: Report
A man told homicide detectives Wednesday morning that if they went to a Silver Spring address they'd find the body of his 28-year-old wife.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring man told homicide detectives on Wednesday that if they went to a home in the 8800 block of Lanier Drive, they'd find the body of his dead wife, according to a Montgomery County Department of Police release.
Dennis Morris Hinnant Jr., 29, walked into the Rockville City Police Station around 12:44 a.m., on Wednesday, and asked to speak with a homicide detective, according to the release.
MCDP officers conducted a welfare check at the Lanier Drive address, where they discovered the body of 28-year-old Taresha Pendarvis of Silver Spring. She had sustained trauma to her body and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

After interviewing Hinnant at Montgomery County Police headquarters, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence, according to the report.
Hinnant was then taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he was charged with first-degree murder. He remains in custody without bond.
