Silver Spring Village Lunch & Learn

If you live in the 20910 zip code, you can join the Silver Spring Village to help people age in place. Learn more on May 28.

The month of May be Older Americans Month, but we all know that people need care every day of the year.

The Silver Spring Village helps people in many ways, including rides to doctor appointments, help around the house, or even just friendly check-in calls. The Village also offers many volunteer opportunities from driving to gardening to baking. Don’t need such services yet? The Village also offers many social and educational activities so you can experience a new restaurant, see a film, or just take a walk.

Learn more about membership and volunteer opportunities at a meet-and-greet lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., Thursday, May 28, at the Gwendolyn E. Coffield Community Center, 2450 Lyttonsville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
