Silver Spring Great-Grandma Wins $50K For Third Time Using Same Lottery Numbers
Silver Spring woman wins her third $50,000 top prize playing the same numbers in the Maryland Lottery's Bonus Match 5 game.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 77-year-old great-grandmother claimed the $5o,000 top prize in the July 16 drawing of the Maryland Lottery's Bonus Match 5 game.
The Silver Spring resident told lottery officials that in 2008 she had two dreams that contained the same numbers: 7, 11, 33, 35 and 39. When she played them, she won $50,000 and has been playing them ever since.
Not only did that same set of numbers win the woman $50,000 in 2019, they proved to be lucky this week as well, bringing in her third $50,000 win. She's also won numerous smaller prizes playing the same numbers.

“My faith is strong,” said the woman, who owns a janitorial services business. “Finances were tight back then, so I prayed about it and then had a dream about those numbers.”
The Silver Spring lottery player discovered her latest win last Sunday evening, when she arrived home after playing Bonus Match 5, several Pick games, and Keno at Williams Beer & Wine in Burtonsville. She then called the Lottery's winning numbers line to check her ticket.

“When they read back the Bonus Match 5 numbers, I was like, 'Well, those numbers sound familiar,’” she told lottery officials. “But, I didn’t scream! I kept my calm.”
The married great-grandmother plans to use her winnings to pay for dental work and a vacation.
For selling the top-prize winning Bonus Match ticket, Williams Beer & Wine located at 15440 Old Columbia Pike will receive a $5oo bonus from the lottery.
