Smash-And-Grab Robbery At 7-Eleven Caught On Video: WATCH
Thursday's smash-and-grab robbery at a Silver Spring 7-Eleven was caught on video. Police need the public's help identifying the suspects.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police have released surveillance footage of Thursday's smash-and-grab robbery at a Silver Spring 7-Eleven. This is the second 7-Eleven store to fall victim to this type of robbery in less than a week.
The latest incident occurred at 3:10 a.m. Thursday. According to Montgomery County Police, two suspects entered the 7-Eleven located at 12257 Tech Rd. and forced the storekeepers onto the floor . A third suspect then rammed a pick-up truck through the storefront.
Authorities say the suspects loaded an ATM onto the truck and fled the scene. The storekeepers were not hurt during the smash-and-grab.

On April 30, a similar type of robbery occurred around 3:09 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 15539 New Hampshire Ave.

Suspects entered the 7-Eleven and forced the storekeepers onto the floor while an unknown vehicle rammed through the front of the store, police said. The storekeepers were not injured during the incident.
During both incidents, the suspects were wearing black hoodies and had their faces covered, police added.
It is not immediately clear if these two ATM robberies are connected.
Detectives urge anyone with information about these suspects or robberies to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100. Anonymous tipsters can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). The group is offering a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of these suspects.
