Suspect Accused Of Armed Robbery In Wheaton Sought By Police

Police say the unidentified teen is accused of stealing a person's clothes as they walked home from school Wednesday.

WHEATON, MD — Montgomery County police are asking for the public's help identifying a teen they say robbed a person at knifepoint and stole his clothes.

Police said the robbery happened Wednesday in the 900 block of Loxford Terrace in Wheaton. According to authorities, the victim was on his way home from school when the suspect approached him, pulled out a knife, and stole his clothes.

Moments later, a cell phone was used to film the suspect leaving the scene.

Police said the suspect is a Black teenager between 15 and 18 years old. He is approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall with a thin build, brown eyes and black hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray Under Armour zip-up jacket, gray Under Armour joggers, black Under Armour shoes, a dark blue Under Armour backpack and a surgical mask.
