Suspect In Attempted Burglary Of Silver Spring Home Caught On Video
Montgomery County Police released a surveillance video footage Friday in connection with an attempted burglary in Silver Spring on Sept. 28.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police released a surveillance video of Friday in connection with an attempted residential burglary that took place Sept. 28 in Silver Spring. Investigators are asking the public's in identifying the suspect in the video.
Investigators determined that around 6:40 a.m., on Sept. 28, the suspect forced his way into the victim's residence in the 3500 block of Bruton Parish Way by breaking a basement window.
Reviewing the surveillance video, police noticed the suspect was wearing the same items that had been taken from a car earlier in the same block. The suspect, who they described as a teen male, was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, white ski mask, and black gloves. He was also carrying a flashlight and a black Northface backpack, which police say was among the items taken from the car earlier.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Tips may remain anonymous.
