Suspect Video In Armed Robbery At Silver Spring Exxon Station Released
Montgomery County Police released surveillance footage of the man they say robbed a Silver Spring gas station at gunpoint on Sunday.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County police detectives are asking the public's help in identifying a man captured on surveillance video robbing a Silver Spring gas station at gunpoint on Sunday, according to a police release.
Officers responded around 1:04 p.m., to the Exxon Gas Station in the 9300 block of Georgia Avenue for the report of an armed robbery.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the store an asked to purchase cigarettes. The man then pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded cash from the register, according to police. After the employee complied, the man left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police described the sect as standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-inches tall. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a white Puma logo, a black jacket, black shirt with a white logo of a hand and face, black pans, and dark colored shoes, according to the release.

A reward is being offered of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Callers may remain anonymous.
