SILVER SPRING, MD — Inauguration Day will bring thousands of outsiders to the region desperate for a place to stay, and locals in the Silver Spring/Takoma Park area are certainly going to take advantage of that. While most of the properties posted on AirBnB are reasonable, there are some truly outrageous listings that must be seen to be believed, although one rental does come with the option of hiring the family's nanny.

We can't fault these people for trying to get the most out of their abode as visitors flood the DC area to celebrate the inauguration of Donald Trump as our nation's 45th president — or take part in the Women's March on Washington and other protests. But based on both price tag and what they offer, the following listings in the area may be a bit overboard.
