SILVER SPRING, MD — Two suspects believed to be behind a string of vehicle break-ins in Montgomery County have been caught on surveillance video. Authorities have released the footage in hopes that the public can help identify the pair.

Eight reports of thefts from vehicles occurred between the evening hours of June 1 and the early hours of June 2, Montgomery County Police said. They believe the same suspects are behind these crimes.

Detectives are investigating the following incidents:

  • Address: 2600 block of Bel Pre Rd
    • Description: Two victims reported that car window had been smashed and property had been stolen.

  • Address: 3200 block of Bel Pre Rd
    • Description: Three victims reported that a car window had been shattered and property had been stolen.

  • Address: 4700 block of West Frankfort Dr
    • Description: Detectives reviewed home surveillance video which showed the suspects entering an unlocked car belonging to the victim and stealing valuables. The video also showed the suspects try to break into another vehicle, but were unsuccessful.

  • Address: 14400 block of Brad Dr
    • Description: Victim reported that suspects entered unlocked car and stole property.

Montgomery County Police have published surveillance video of the suspects, which is embedded at the bottom of this post.

Anyone with information regarding these suspects should call is asked the 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240-773-5476. Anonymous tipsters can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
