Video Of Fatal Shooting On Metro Bus In Silver Spring Released: Police
Montgomery County homicide detectives released a surveillance video of last Friday's fatal shooting on a Metro bus in Silver Spring.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police homicide detectives released a surveillance video Thursday of last Friday's fatal shooting on a Metro bus in Silver Spring, according to a release.
Police asking the public's help in identifying the suspect in the video, who they say shot and killed 19-year-old Justice T’Ziyan Elliott inside the bus.
The video shows the suspect entering the bus, shooting Elliot, leaving the bus and then running across a parking lot.

Police described the suspect as an 18 to 20-year-old Black man with a thin build and short black hair. He stood 5-foot-10 to 6-feet in height and was carrying a white backpack with black trim. At the time of the incident, the suspect wore a black ski mask, black coat with fur around the hood, black jeans and black shoes.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the video or who has information about this case is asked to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest in this case is eligible for a reward of up to $10,000. Tipsters do not need to identify themselves. Callers may remain anonymous.
