Video Shows Man Wanted By Police For Burglary At Silver Spring School
Police are asking the public's help in identifying a burglary suspect caught on surveillance video at a Silver Spring middle school.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man caught on a surveillance video in connection with the Sept. 25 burglary at Silver Spring International Middle School, according to a release.
Around 9:49 p.m., on Sept. 25, officers responded to the school, which is located in the 300 block of Wayne Avenue, for the report of a burglary. Police determined that someone forced their way into the school and took items from classrooms before leaving the scene.
After reviewing school surveillance video, police identified a White man in his 40s or 50s, with a medium build and of average height as a suspect in the burglary. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, and white and gray tennis shoes, according to police.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the video or photos or who has information about this case is asked to contact the 3rd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6870 or 240-773-TIPS. Members of the public may also contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Callers can remain anonymous.
