Weapons Charges Filed Against 2 MD Men In DC Shooting: Police
Two men from Maryland are facing weapons charges after one of them shot another person during an argument in D.C. on Friday, police say.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested two men from Maryland, one from Silver Spring and the other from Hyattsville, in connection with an assault with a dangerous weapon offense that occurred early Friday morning in Northwest D.C., according to a release.
Around 7:46 a.m, a Fifth District sergeant and a metro transit officer were in the area of the 1300 block of 6th Street, Northwest when they heard the sound of gunshots, according to police. The officers apprehended two suspects whom they observed running from the area.
The victim of the shooting was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation revealed that the victim and suspects were arguing when one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and shot the victim, according to police.
Police charged 32-year-old Eric Cisneros of Silver Spring with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun), carrying a pistol without a license, possession of an unregistered firearm, and possession of unregistered ammunition.

Police also charged 32-year-old Tyland Rollins of Hyattsville with carrying a pistol without a license, felon in possession, possession of an unregistered firearm, and possession of unregistered ammunition.
