UPDATE: Missing Leisure World Resident Found Safe

A 91-year-old woman with dementia was missing from Leisure World; police say she was found safe over the weekend.d

(Updated Jan. 3) SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Alert was canceled for an elderly Silver Spring woman who was reported missing Sunday. Montgomery County Police say Gloria Deborah Adams has been located safe and unharmed and was reunited with family. Officers had asked for the public’s help in efforts to locate the missing Leisure World woman.

A Silver Alert has been issued for Gloria Deborah Adams, 91, of South Leisure World Boulevard.

Authorities say Adams left her residence between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday to travel to a family member’s home on Rayburn Road in Bethesda. She was driving a silver 2014 Volkswagen Jetta with Maryland tag: 2BR9629.

Adams is described as a white female who is 4’10” tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She has white hair and blue eyes.

Police say Adams suffers from dementia; police and family are concerned for her physical well-being.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gloria Deborah Adams or the silver Volkswagen Jetta is asked to call 9-1-1.
