Woman Stabbed Near MoCo Community Center

SILVER SPRING, MD — A woman was stabbed in Silver Spring on Saturday, just a short distance from the White Oak Community Recreation Center.

The Montgomery County Police Department said officers reported to the 1500 block of February Circle just after 5 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Once on the scene, officers found a woman suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.

Police did not describe the extent of her injuries in detail, but are saying the stabbing was an "isolated incident."

No suspect has been identified or taken into custody at present.
