History research paper about president bushBorn in July 6th 1946, George walker Bush became an American politician and a businessperson before becoming the 43rd president of United States in 2001. George bush was also the 46th Governor of Texas in 1995-2000. He is the eldest son of George H. Walker. Bush, and Barbara P. Bush, and was born in Connecticut, New Haven. In 1968, Bush graduated from Yale University, and went to Harvard in 1975 to join the business school. He worked in the oil industry before he became the co-owner of the Texas Rangers baseball team. In 1977, he married Laura Welch and thereafter tried to run for the House of Representatives where he became unsuccessful, but defeated Ann Richards in the Texas gubernatorial election in 1994.
