Active Shooter Drills To Be Held In Takoma Park (ICYMI)
Takoma Park Police said they will conduct active shooter training scenarios on Dec. 12, 13, 19, and 20.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police on Monday said they will conduct four active shooter training scenarios at a local private school, and cautioned that people may hear sounds of gunfire.
In a tweet, police said the drills will take place at John Nevins Andrews School on Dec. 12, 13, 19, and 20. The private school is located on 117 Elm Ave.

Police warned that people may "hear what sounds like gunshots" during the drills. They said officers will be using non-lethal training ammunition to simulate those noises.
