Join Jewish Voice for Peace- DC Metro Chapter in welcoming Penny Rosenwasser, author of "Hope into Practice: Jewish Women Choosing Justice Despite our Fears", who will soon be in DC for a book reading and conversation, as part of a nationwide book tour. Penny will be joined by several other women to read stories chronicled in her book about Jewish American women of all ages who are anchored in the Jewish ethical tradition of striving for a better future based on social justice.
Penny is the author of Visionary Voices, Women on Powerand Voices from a Promised Land: Palestinian and Israeli Peace Activists Speak their Hearts. She is a founding board member of Jewish Voice for Peace and former Jewish Caucus Chair of the National Women’s Studies Association. She teaches at City College of San Francisco.
