CYCLED! After Dark Cardio Party: We're turning down the lights, bringing out the glow sticks, and pumping up the music for another fabulous After Dark Cardio Party! Takoma Park Annual Tree Giveaway: Come and join Takoma Park Library for the annual tree giveaway in celebration of Arbor Day. A variety of trees will be available for you to support the growth of Takoma Park's Urban Tree Canopy. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 101 Philadelphia St.

Sunday

Family Fun Festival (Hosted by Washington Adventist University): The Family Fun Festival is free and open to the public. The event features live music, food and family entertainment, and it is staged with support from the City of Takoma Park and sponsors such as WGTS 91.9, Washington Adventist Hospital and the local business community. WGTS music artists will be showcased, and there will be health screenings, food from local restaurants and caterers, a petting zoo, fitness camp, bounce house and more. The event is 12-5 p.m. at Washington Adventist University at 7600 Flower Ave.

Vipassana Meditation: Chill out from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday evening at Willow Street Yoga at 6930 Carroll Ave. Be prepared for Vipassana meditation and dharma talk.
