From salsa dances to Dining Out for Life at Mark's Kitchen, there's a lot going on in Takoma Park this week.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Happy Monday, Patchers! Now that the winter is behind us, are you looking to get out and explore all that Takoma Park has to offer?There's something fun to do every day this week right outside of your front door.

Monday: Ray & Roze Dance Fitness Classes

Looking to shake it and sweat? Head on over to Takoma Park Middle School at 7611 Piney Branch Rd. from 7-8 p.m. Mondays class focuses on Zokorro, a Zumba and strength training combination.

Tuesday: Salsa Classes at the DC Style Salsa Academy

Want to learn how to dance salsa in a fun and friendly environment? Then join the DCSSA on Tuesdays at Roda Movements to train, learn about, and experience one of best Latin dances around. Check it out at Roda Movements, 7014 Westmoreland Ave., from 7:30-9 p.m.

Wednesday: CYCLED! $10 Weekday Morning Rides

How would you like to wake up your mind and body with an indoor cycling class that will take your metabolism into full speed for the rest of the day? Come RISE n' RIDE with $10 weekday morning classes from 5-8 a.m. at CYCLED DC, located at 6960-C Maple St., NW.

Thursday: Dining Out for Life

Mark's Kitchen and Republic are joining more than 70 area restaurants who have pledged to contribute a percentage of lunch and/or dinner sales to benefit Food & Friends’ clients living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses throughout the National Capital Region. Mark's Kitchen at 7006 Carroll Ave. is donating 25 percent of lunch and dinner.

Friday: Happy Beer Day With DC Brau

DC BRAU in the house for a tasting at TPSS Co-op! 10 percent off selections during the event at TPSS Coop at 201 Ethan Allen Ave.
