Carolyn Mullet has been a Takoma Park resident for 35 years. She’s a professional garden designer, trained in Residential Landscape Design from George Washington University. After more than two decades as a landscape designer for prominent design build firms in the DC metro area, she launched Carex: Garden Design by Carolyn Mullet, offering complete garden design services. You can see her work on her website www.carexdesign.com. Carolyn is also active on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/gdbycm/). She had no idea when she started posting on Facebook that a global community of over a million people would eventually convene to share and discuss their love of gardens and design. After growing such a robust Facebook community, Carolyn was inspired to see what more could come of bringing people together in the context of real gardens. This year she has started a new venture called Carex Tours and will host 3 European garden tours ( www.carexdesign.com/tours/). She believes she has created ideal itineraries for gardeners and warmly welcomes others to join her. Carolyn is also graciously hosting a THC Open Garden on June 26.
