After her introductory workshop at IMT this past spring, Sarah McQuaid responded to requests for more instruction on playing in DADGAD tuning by developing this follow-on workshop on accompaniment. Designed for guitarists who are experienced DADGAD players or have already attended Sarah's beginning workshop, the class will cover:
- DADGAD doesn’t end with D! Playing songs in Em, G and A
- It’s not just for Irish music: Using DADGAD for different styles
- Tutorial: A few representative songs
A 14-page handout with lyrics, tablature and chord diagrams for songs in various keys and styles is included in the course fee. Participants may also pre-order a copy of Sarah's book for an additional $20.
