StarryTelling in the MC Planetarium

What is Betelgeuse afraid of?  Why is Mars taking off to find anti-matter?  How did two small children take their village out of the darkness?

Relax with family under the stars and listen to the I’m a StarryTeller! planetarium show with skylore written and narrated by area students, including Takoma Park MS, Alice Deal MS, Parkland MS for Aerospace Technology and the British School. Complete with professionally designed music and sound effects, this show debuted at the Einstein Planetarium at the NASM earlier this year. Original stories are told using rap, comedy, memoire, sci fi, betrayal, adventure, poetry, compassion and more.  2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Also enjoy the science of astronomy in a traditional planterium show by Dr. Harold Williams, the Montgomery College planetarium educator and Astronomy professor, who will guide you through the universe and point out some of the celestial objects referred to in the StarryTelling stories.  3:00 pm
