This is the first meeting of its new Caldecott Club at Takoma Park Library. The Caldecott Medal is awarded annually by theAmerican Library Association to the best-illustrated children's book of the previous year. The potential winners of the 2011 Caldecott Medal will be read together and then discussed. Kids ages 5 and up and adults who love children's literature, areinvited to be part of the club.
