The Takoma Park Arts and Humanities Commission and Studio Downstairs celebrate the opening of the “The Apricot Tree, A Fruitful Alliance” exhibit at The Galleries at the Takoma Park Community Center.
On display will be original pieces from Shannon Gerrity's and Claudia Krizay's children's fairy tale The Apricot Tree.
Pieces on sale will be up for silent auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Studio Downstair, a non-profit therapy program of CREATE Arts Center which helps bring awareness about mental health issues.
