All proceeds from the event will fund the academic, therapeutic, vocational and fitness programs at The Pathways Schools, a non-profit special education school, with students from Montgomery, Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties and Washington, D.C. The race is the organization's major fundraiser, and will feature prizes for the top male and female runners, a fun walk (open to dog walkers and strollers, too), face-painting, entertainment and refreshments.
Early-bird registration is $20 before April 26 and $25 after that date. Registration forms are available on the school website, www.pathwayschools.org (click on fun run). Race day registration will take place 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. May 7.
