Fifth Annual Celebrate Takoma Festival Returns This Month

Takoma Park residents are encouraged to celebrate their city with food, drinks, live music, entertainment and more.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park residents are encouraged to celebrate the vibrant cultural diversity of the community at the fifth annual Celebrate Takoma Festival, which will be held in front of the Community Center on Saturday, May 20.

The Recreation Department, along with some dedicated volunteers, will transform Maple Avenue into a world of fun and learning. The free family festival block party will feature arts, crafts, entertainment, music, games and food from all over the world.

The event will be held rain or shine. Due to limited parking, residents are encouraged to walk. Residents should also bring lawn chairs.
