Friday

Food Truck Friday: Check out Food Truck Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the TPSS Co-op Parking Lot at 201 Ethan Allen Ave. The food truck El Pollo Submarine will be in attendance for the first time. Attendees can expect awesome pupusas, fried plantains, yucca fries, enchiladas and more.

An Evening of Rock and Roll: Ready to get down this Friday night? Head over to VFW from 7:30-11 p.m. to see bands like Monkeyfeather, Delarcos and Esmirelda rock all night long. Takoma Park VFW is at 6420 Orchard Ave.

Saturday

Pop-Up Shop at The Spice Suite: There will be tons of women's clothing and accessories from The Strut Truck at The Spice Suite at 6902 4th St. NW.

Callithump: Interested in foot-stomping tunes and rocking songs? Callithump will bring original and ancient folk music to life from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Takoma Park Community Center at 7500 Maple Ave.

Sunday

Takoma Park Farmers Market: Check out the freshest local produce, meat, cheese and more all from within 125 miles of Takoma Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday on Laurel Avenue.

Takoma Beverage Co Pop-Up: Meet the team from Takoma Beverage Co. at their pop-up in front of 6917 Laurel Ave. Guests can try pastries and drinks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check out the Patch article on the new business!

Poetry Fuddle: Play around with words in this casual and inventive meet-up with local poets Amy Eisner and Leslie Bumstead. The poets will over a poetry activity to get everyone writing, but you can also bring your own to share with the group. Don't miss it at Rhizome at 6950 Maple St., NW.
