Angel-voiced singer/guitarist Matthew Byrne comes from a family of traditional Newfoundland singers. His performances are spare yet polished, combining impeccable guitar arrangements with a voice that melts hearts. In addition to his solo career, Matthew is also a member of The Dardanelles, one of Canada’s leading traditional folk music bands. Matthew’s Silver Spring appearance is part of an East Coast tour to promote his second solo recording, Hearts & Heroes.
