La Mano Coffee Bar has been rehabbing an abandoned property on Carroll St by the Metro for the past several months. We are basically ready to open but have been hit with a surprise construction issue with PEPCO and are in a viscious permit circle with DCDOT. We have launched a fundraising campaign to help us with these last minute headaches. We are small beans compared to the big developers that have their cranes going in Takoma already.
