Main Street Takoma Commissions Tree Art

The Old Takoma Business Association and Main Street Takoma are seeking artists to participate in reCYCLE The Art of Tree Project. This is the second installment of the temporary public art series in Old Takoma which will run from June-October.

The organizations are looking to commission artists to create tree-like outdoor sculptures made of recycled materials. The art will be installed along sidewalks in Old Takoma.

The organizations are also looking to for tree-like, non-sculpture, visual arts creations for Old Takoma storefronts.
