Temperatures are high and skies are sunny in Maryland Thursday and Friday, but as the weekend progresses we see a chance of rain and a colder Sunday. We recommend a happy hour outside to start the weekend off on a good foot Friday, and then catch a movie Saturday when the rain comes in.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. High near 68. South wind 9 to 18 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
