Update: November 2, 2021 - James Vincent Horvath has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult male. 

On Tuesday, November 2, at approximately 9:00 a.m.., James Vincent Horvath, age 69, was last seen leaving his residence in his white Toyota Camry bearing Maryland license plate JAC360.

Horvath is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 178 pounds. He has white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy jacket, a black sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.  

Police and family are concerned for his physical welfare.   

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of James Vincent Horvath is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
