Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Silver Spring man.

Martin Katz, age 71, of Brunswick Avenue in Silver Spring, has been reported as a missing person.  Family last spoke to Katz by phone on Sunday, March 14.  Katz speaks to his family by phone on a daily basis but since Sunday he has been unreachable and his whereabouts are unknown.

Katz is approximately 5’ 11” tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds.  He is balding and has green eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Martin Katz' whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line).
