Montgomery County Department Of Police: Montgomery County Police Investigating Homicide In Silver Spring

August 21, 2021

Gaithersburg, MD - Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division is currently investigating a homicide on Carona Court in Silver Spring. 

At approximately 8 p.m. Saturday evening, 4th District officers arrived at the location to find a male inside the residence, who had been assaulted. The victim subsequently succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. 

A suspect is currently in custody.

This is an active and ongoing homicide investigation and no further details can be confirmed at this time.
