Montgomery County Resources to Shelter from Cold
Outreach volunteers will be out this weekend looking for people who need shelter. Phone numbers to call for help are below.

Montgomery County officials say the county’s emergency shelters are full and overflow areas may open to accommodate homeless people who may need a warm place to stay during the weekend’s cold snap.
Health and Human Services Spokesperson Mary Anderson told Montgomery Community Media homeless families are located at one of three emergency shelters as well as in local motels.
If you see someone out in the cold, Anderson says it’s best to call police so officers can check on the person and contact the Crisis Center to be placed in a shelter. This weekend, she said, outreach volunteers are slated to be out looking for people in who may need shelter.
