According to theΒ Game Picks blogon the NFL site: β€œWe don't trust theΒ RedskinsΒ on the road this week, but we are exhibiting trust inΒ Nick Foles. … As for Washington, if I'm coachΒ Mike Shanahan, I'm running the football as much as possible. That's theΒ Redskins' bread and butter. GetΒ Robert Griffin IIIΒ out in space and make theΒ EaglesΒ play 11-on-11, not 11-on-10. Also, be aware thatΒ Alfred Morris, who is averaging well over 5 yards per carry, is having a top-notch season.”

The Ravens take their 4-5 record – they’re third in the AFC Northern Division -- to Chicago’s Soldier Field on Sunday. The game starts at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

TheΒ Game Picks blog on the NFL websiteΒ favors the Bears, who have a 5-4 record, to win 27-20.Β

The blog’s take on the Ravens vs Bears matchup: β€œBaltimore squeezed back intoΒ the AFC wild-card raceΒ with a clutch (?)Β win over CincinnatiΒ on Sunday. Can theΒ RavensΒ do it on the road? No. The front sevenΒ hasΒ to get pressure -- and that figures to be a tough task against theΒ Bears, for whom protecting the quarterback is no longer the huge issue it once was. … Of course, Baltimore has the third-most sacks, so this really comes down to the threat of a run game or short passing game. … Bear in mind, this game is in Chicago. TheΒ RavensΒ have lost four of their five road games this season.”
