Share Your Thoughts on Metro's Z Line Corridor Services
Riders can share their ideas for possible improvements to Silver Spring Metro routes at two September open houses.

Public input is being sought at two upcoming open houses hosted by Metro as it studies possible improvements to the Z line corridor.
Metro, in cooperation with Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, and the Maryland Department of Transportation, is studying Routes Z2, Z6, Z8, Z9, Z11, Z13, and Z29. As part of the study, two open house events will be held in September to discuss issues with service on the line and to get feedback on options for improvements.

Wednesday, September 10 — 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center
3300 Briggs Chaney Road in Silver Spring
Both public meetings are served by the Z lines and are open to all members of the public. No advance registration is required.
Participants may arrive any time during the meeting. Metro officials hope the open format will promote a direct dialogue between Metrobus riders and the project team. The project team would like as much input on the ideas as possible before the study’s recommendations are made and final report is completed.
A Spanish translator will be provided upon request for those with limited English proficiency. Both locations are wheelchair-accessible. Persons requiring special accommodations are asked to e-mail info@metrobus-studies.com before Sept. 8.
This project is the latest in a series of corridor studies in which Metro and its partner agencies in the Washington metropolitan region study service and operations on the Metrobus network’s busiest lines and make gradual improvements, including restructured routes, limited-stop services, and other enhancements.
