Takoma Park Community Coffee: Get To Know Councilmember Fred Schultz Friday

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Want to get to know your Takoma Park community leaders better? Join the next Community Coffee this Friday.

This week's guest is Councilmember Fred Schultz. Schultz has lived in Takoma Park since 1986 and has been on the City Council since 2009.

Schultz was a community development planner in Baltimore, an economic development professional in Arlington County and now owns Frederick Schultz & Associates, LLC, which helps businesses obtain financing and assists banks with loan packaging and servicing.

Schultz primarily focuses on these Takoma Park topics: Purple Line funding, Washington Adventist Hospital's move, municipal tax duplication, relocation of the Crossroads Farmers Market and more.

Community Coffee will be held at the Takoma Park Recreation Center on New Hampshire from 8-9:30 a.m. Friday.
