Takoma Park Folk Festival Celebrates 38th Year

The Takoma Park Folk Festival is a free day-long festival featuring six stages of music, a juried artisan craft show, food, dancing, and family fun. The Festival—in its 38th year—focuses on performers and artisans from Washington, D.C., and the surrounding region. Performing artists donate their time and talent to showcase the diversity and depth of artistic talent in the area and to help raise money for worthy causes.

This year’s festival will take place from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 20 at Takoma Park Middle School, 7611 Piney Branch Rd., Takoma Park, MD.
