Three Men Arrested For Takoma Park Taxi Robberies
The men were charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft, assault and kidnapping, police said.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police announced Thursday that three young men were arrested in connection to multiple taxi cab robberies that have been occurring in the Langley Park area.
The robberies occurred on Jan. 3 and Jan. 8 in the 6800 block of New Hampshire Avenue and the area of Circle Avenue/Woodland Avenue, police told Patch.
Takoma Park Police worked with Takoma Park Police Detectives and Prince George’s County District 1 Detectives to arrest the three suspects, police said.

The men have been charged by Takoma Park Police with armed robbery, robbery, theft and assault, police said. They were also charged in Prince George's County with kidnapping.
Investigation is ongoing, while the three men are being held in the Prince George's County Correctional Facility, police said.

Gilberto Bonilla-Andrade, 19, of Hyattsville, Maryland

Josue Gomez, 20, of Silver Spring, Maryland

Omar Garnicha-Sagastume, 18, of Hyattsville, Maryland
