Traffic Alert: Lanes Closed on I-95 Overnight for Resurfacing
Work on southbound I-95 will mean delays and lane closures. Officials say commuters should take alternate routes.

Drivers should prepare for overnight lane closures beginning Wednesday, Sept. 17, as a resurfacing project begins on southbound I-95 in the vicinity of the ICC interchange.
According to State Highway Administration officials in a news release, the work will mean several weeks of overnight lane closures on southbound I-95 north of MD 198 and the ICC Interchange. The work is expected to continue for up to four weeks.
Drivers will have access to ramps throughout the project, but travelers should expect delays and may want to consider using MD 295, US 1 or US 29 as alternate routes.
