The ten Young Voices for the Planet (YVFP) short films will screen at the Takoma Park Community Center on Wednesday, October 29th, 2014 at 6:00 PM. The event will also feature a special screening of “We Sing Out!” about PETE SEEGER and the Rivertown Kids. “We Sing Out!” is a poignant tribute to Pete Seeger who, sadly, passed on before the film was completed. But he left a legacy: the Rivertown kids have a deep environmental ethic and they “speak out musically” about a renewable-energy-powered future.
