I Heart Social Media

I love Lutherville. Aside from college and my 20s, during which time, I called 24153, 21286, 21231 and 21230 home, I've lived in the 21093 my whole life. I'm now lucky enough to not only be raising my girls (aged 2 and 4) here with my husband, but I also work here.  That's because I work from home, indulging my passion, connecting people and technology.

I'm a social media manager for businesses.

I create, manage and maintain a presence on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Fousquare and blogs, for businesses large and small across the country.  It's my job to be in the know about all the latest news and information pertaining to the world of social media.  

I then get to distill that down and parlay what's most useful to my clients.  On the flip side, I also have to get to know my client and be able to speak and act on their behalf to create custom content for their social media outlets.

My background is diverse. I've worked as an editor at a National magazine, won awards in sales positions, and helped market a Fortune 500 company.  Before I went out on my own, I spent two years as a producer at a social media site for tween girls.  And for the last 20 months, I've been building my own business Molly White Marketing.

I'm passionate about what I do and I'm thrilled to be doing it. Being asked to blog here about it is an exciting new adventure for me and I hope you will find my posts informative and useful. Think of me as your own social media go to girl. Ask me anything you'd like to about the ins and outs of Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media site.
