Timonium Home Sales February 2012

Timonium home sales were up in February over the same month last year.

A total of $8,650,500 in homes changed hands, while in February 2011, $7,802,975 were sold. Average sold price was up as well, to $308,946, versus $288,999.

Twenty-eight homes sold, and about half of those were condos or townhouses.

Fifty homes came on the market last month, with a total of 140 active homes for sale in our area.

Thirty-five homes in Timonium went under contract, with a total of 55 pending by the end of February.

Though the numbers are positive in our area, these market snapshots are not a true picture of what may be happening in your individual area. Two of the 28 homes sold were in a high price range, so it may skew the numbers slightly. More condos and townhouses being sold tend to affect the average sales price, too.
