Timonium Home Sales January 2012

Timonium home sales held steady this January from January 2011, with $10,427,900 in real estate changing hands last month.

Average sold price was down 13.58% to $336,384, but often times this is due to a few small condos or cottages selling, since only 31 homes changed hands during the time period.

Average sold price for detached homes was up slightly to $421,094!

Eleven condos sold, which is a large number for one month (and can have an effect on average sales price).

There were 135 homes for sale, and 28 homes went under contract during the month of January. 

Holding steady and a few areas with growth are positive attributes for the Timonium real estate market. Each neighborhood is different, so know that these statistics do not make for a true picture of your home's value!
