Crews Battle House Fire On Broadway Road: Officials

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Crews encountered heavy fire when they responded to a house ablaze near Greenspring Avenue Wednesday afternoon, authorities reported.

First responders were alerted to the house fire in the 1800 block of Broadway Road at 3:44 p.m.

Despite initial reports that there may have been a person trapped inside, no victims were found, according to officials.

At 5:25 p.m., authorities said that firefighters were still at the scene of the blaze.

This was the second afternoon house fire crews handled in the area Wednesday. Before 2:30 p.m., firefighters were called to a blaze approximately 2 miles away on Rises Court.
