Maryland Citizens Against the Death Penalty and The Maryland State Conference of the NAACP invite you to join us for a FORUM ON THE DEATH PENALTY: REMEMBERING TROY DAVIS.
Together, we will honor Troy’s memory and work to end the terror of state sponsored execution. It was a goal of Fredrick Douglass, Ida B Wells, and Thurgood Marshall. And it is a goal that MD CASE and the NAACP will carry forward in the weeks and months ahead.
ABOUT THE FORUM
The fight to end state executions is NOT over! We will have a moment of silence in remembrance of Troy Davis, and host a panel of speakers who will address Maryland's current state execution laws, address the importance of working towards REPEAL OF THE DEATH PENALTY 2013 and ways that the general public can get involved in educating, and supporting the mission to end the death penalty in Maryland.
