Lisa Schwartz Joins Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Board
Long-time regional bank manager will serve three-year term for education non-profit

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Junior Achievement of Central Maryland has appointed Lisa Schwartz to a three-year term on its board of directors.
As M&T Bank’s business banking regional manager–Greater Baltimore, Schwartz leads the lending and servicing team that supports the branch network in Baltimore, Harford and Cecil counties. She also is responsible for the loan and deposit portfolios, as well as the development of new business.
Bringing 26 years industry experience, she previously spent 15 years as a retail regional manager overseeing 12 to 21 branch managers. Earlier in her career, she taught an economics class at Western High School while working for Equitable Bank.

“I am pleased to join the JA board,” Schwartz said. “To me, financial literacy is the cornerstone to ensuring that our child and future leaders are prepared to make responsible personal and professional decisions.”
A Loyola University graduate, Schwartz also serves on the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Timonium, with her husband, Steve, and their children, Kate, Josh, Jake and Brett.
